THE STOP-LOSS LANDSCAPE:

Paige Beilby joined the MJ team as our director of analytics in our Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Paige further bolsters MJ’s ability to forecast program costs for clients and develop strategic recommendations that align seamlessly with each clients’ individualized benefit strategy. Her passion for curating and deploying data models to help clients predict future trends and outcomes seamlessly aligns with MJ’s customized data-driven approach. With over a decade of actuarial and analytical consulting experience in the Denver region, Paige brings a versatile set of skills and a strong understanding of the Colorado market. Leaning on her expertise, Paige and her team work diligently to create predictive models for claims, customer behavior and financial performance for MJ clientele. 

Michael Monnich serves as President, North Central Region for Stealth Partner Group, where he leads growth and strategic initiatives across the region. He has more than two decades of experience in the employee benefits and stop-loss insurance industry, with expertise in sales leadership, distribution strategy, and carrier relationships.

Prior to his current role, Monnich held several leadership positions at Stealth Partner Group, including Executive Vice President, AVP of Sales, and Sales Executive. Before joining Stealth, he worked with organizations including Reliance Standard and Sun Life Financial, specializing in medical stop-loss and employee benefits solutions.

He earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Management from Hillsdale College. 

Tara Krauss is the Head of Accident & Health for QBE North America. In this role, she is responsible for the development and execution of long-range strategic plans that accelerate profitable growth for the Accident & Health practice. Tara has been dedicated to utilizing her deep industry expertise across underwriting, technology, operations and claims to provide the best solutions to QBE’s customers. Tara believes that an organization’s culture drives success and has an unwavering commitment to talent development and engagement.

She has been with QBE since 2009, holding several leadership roles during her tenure. In her prior role of SVP, Underwriting Operations, Tara was accountable for several core elements of the business. She developed and implemented underwriting and risk management guidelines to support technical rate adequacy, optimized policy administration protocols to ensure both customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance and developed a best in class underwriting team. Prior to joining QBE, she held various underwriting and management positions with HCC Insurance (formerly LDG) and SLG Benefits & Insurance, LLC.

Tara holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Merrimack College, where she graduated  Magna Cum Laude.
